Privacy and cookies.

Who we are

Fractal Factory Limited, registered in Scotland, company number SC884607. Registered office: 6 Park Court, Musselburgh, Scotland, EH21 7HG. We decide how the personal information described here is used. You can reach us at jncolligan@fractal-factory-ai.com.

This site

It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising. The page itself sends nothing you do here to us or anyone else. Like any website, it reaches you through a host, which keeps the logs described below. If we've invited you to review the site, your feedback reaches us only when you email it yourself, with only what you entered. It remembers the stories you've opened only while the page is open, and stores nothing on your device for that. If you're reviewing the site for us, it keeps your notes in your browser's session storage, so you don't lose them; they never leave your device and are gone when you close the tab.

Our hosting

Like any website, this one is served by a web host, which keeps standard server logs, including your IP address and the pages you asked for. We use them only to keep the site secure and running; that's our legitimate interest. They're deleted within two months.

If you email us

We use your message and email address to reply and to follow up on what you asked; that's our legitimate interest in answering you. Our email provider stores them for us. We keep emails for a year, unless you become a customer; then we keep them as long as the law requires after our work together ends.

Where it's kept

Our web host and email provider may handle data outside the UK. Where they do, it's protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, to restrict how we use it, or to object to it, by emailing us. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
